First and foremost, thank you choosing SUNKISS'D! I will arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time to evaluate and set up the spray tanning tent with access to an outlet. The duration of the spray tan session is approximately  20-30 minutes, Then allow another 10-15 minutes to clean up, so that you can enjoy the rest of your day!

YES! PREPARATION, PREPARATION PREPARATION! This is the probably the MOST important step in getting the best glow possible. The preparation begins 24-48 hours  prior to receiving your spray tan

• Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate! Nourish your skin by drinking plenty of water
• Exfoliate, Exfoliate, Exfoliate the body and face properly to remove dry, flaky dead skin! 
• Stop use of retinol and acid product
• Be sure to conduct all hair removal process at  least 24 hours in advance of your session. 
• Wash your hair prior to spray tanning session
• Use natural soaps for shower
• Moisturize your skin with water based ingredients!

Make sure that you are NOT wearing any moisturizer, lotions, perfume, or deordorant. Have dark loose clothing available to wear (sweatpants, joggers ,long-sleeved shirts, or zip-up hoodie) We don't want any tanning solution to transfer onto belongings and  risk messing up your tan.

Since you are in the comforts of your home or hotel room, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. This means your birthday suit, swimsuit, bra and underwear and I also carry disposable undergarments. All you need to do is decided if want tan lines or not.

Great question! This will depend on the type of solution is used for your tanning session. 

• For Express aka Rapid solution, you can rinse thoroughly with water ONLY 2-4 hours after application. The allow 12-16 hours post application to shower with natural organic soap. 
• For standard solution you can shower after 8 -12 hours with natural organic soaps
• AVOID using DOVE , Oil of Olay, mineral oil or any oil based products on your skin. This will effect the longevity of your spray tan.
• Stick to natural and water-based soaps and lotions
• Avoid sweating, swimming, working out first 24 hours to avoid streaking

With proper after care, you can maintain your sunless glow for 7-10 days while using suntan safe products.

YES!  Getting a sunless spray tan does NOT protect your skin from UVA/UVB rays. So protect your skin by using sunscreen.

These are a few products you should AVOID when getting a spray tan as a general rule of thumb. Some of these products will cause streaking, blotched spots, strip or fade away your tan faster.

• Mineral-oil based products
• Anti-aging products
• Retin-A type products (Retin-A, Renovate, Tazorac, and Trefinoin) 
• Skin renewal acids: AHA’s (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), Glycolic, Lactic, Malic, Citric, TCA, Tartaric Acids, BHA’s (Beta Hydroxy Acids) Salicylic Acid, Vitamin C Treatments or serums
• Abrasive exfoliating scrubs
• Toners with witch hazel or alcohol

Whether you want to look like you came from vacation all year round, even out complexion or conceal any flaws, getting a sunless spray tan is another form of self care like getting your nails or waxing done. Think of it as a melanin boost to enhance or improve the look of your skin. Why wouldn't want your skin to look glow with perfection!? Let's normalize this!

Yes, SUNKISS'D does offer incentives for anyone who host a group tanning session with a party of 4+. The host will received a complimentary session and each member will receive a discount of the regular rate.
